This recipe comes from a 1971 Betty Crocker Recipe Card.
Whenever I’m in a hurry to make a healthy, quick and filling meal, I turn to this classic recipe.
2 cup flour (I use 1 cup white and 1 cup wheat)
3 ts baking powder
1 ts salt
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/3 cup vegtable oil
2/3 cup milk
Mix dry ingredients. Measure milk and oil together then pour into dry mixture. Stir. Knead 10x. Roll into 12 balls on a greased baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes at 425.
When I was 17, I worked at Red Lobster, baking their cheddar rolls. These are similar. Go ahead and brush with garlic butter for the full effect!
