Reduce Clutter: Organization Behind Closed Doors

Here’s the dirty little secret of my front hall: my reusable bag collection. It’s the perfect place to store them, except that every time I open the cabinet, the reusable bags cascade to the floor and I have to shove them back in while shutting the doors in one quick, coordinated motion.

EORorganize_bags_closeToday I said no more to this point of stress. I was becoming reluctant to open the cabinet because I knew there was a pending mess.

The organization solution was simple. All I needed was to organize with structured compartments rather than hide everything behind closed doors.

The Reduction Rebel lifestyle advocates for clutter control by having a place for everything, but sometimes those places needed to have another place within them.

Meet the new and improved (before & after) look at my front hall cabinet.

EORorganize_bags_beforeafterThe best part was this project took less than an hour and gives me a great feeling of satisfaction.

Ahh, I could look at organized spaces all day.
