Plastic Bottles Upcycled into Bathroom Storage

I have a couple factors working against me with keeping my kid’s bathroom counter tidy. 1) they don’t have have anywhere to put their toothbrushes and toothpaste besides the cabinet behind the mirror. 2) the cabinet behind the mirror is out of sight, out of mind. Therefore I need storage that’s out of the way, but still in view.

Also, did you know that health officials recommend keeping toothbrushes at least 6 ft from the toilet. Good to know.

Here is the pictorial evolution of my coffee creamer bottle being upcycled into a hanging storage container in the bathroom.

Supplies:
1. Plastic container – I used a large coffee creamer bottle, but shampoo bottles work great too.

2. X-Acto knife

3. Safety plug – I’m talking about those plastic plugs that block outlets so kids don’t stick their little fingers in them. Or, if you keep your hairdryer (or whatever) plugged in, you could just do that to hold up your container.

4. (Optional) Mod Podge, fabric, decorative paper – whatever you would want to dress up your bottle.

Where could you use a little extra off-the-counter organization?
